Yesterday, Bing decided to appeal to people interested in stock markets and finances. They have made it much easier for people to find this sort of information on their search engine. This is great news for investors, investment bankers, financiers, stockbrokers and generally anyone who deals with stock markets and financial investment companies a lot.
Bing have stated in their blog that to get the info on the stocks you need, go to the stock and funds page and then just type in the stock ticker and it will come up if it’s indexed on their search. It shows information on key finance metrics of the firm you search for in great detail and a summary of the main analyst covering the stock.
There is also a handy little list on the left that shows other leading members of that particular industry, related stocks and related searches. Bing has also said that they plan to increase the functionality of this search function and expand it greatly. Hopefully it will be covering UK stocks very soon.
